My pickups are hand wound, unless otherwise stated, and built one at a time using traditional winding techniques with vintage correct wire and components used on all our vintage type models.
Hi everybody!
It's been a while but I hope to be reopening the business over the coming months. I thought I'd tell the story about why I had to temporarily close Brierley Guitar Pickups....
Some of you may know that the gorgeous massive old cork tree next to my workshop decided it had had enough and dropped a huge bough on my driveway. An hour later the rest of the tree went the other way.... Yep straight onto my workshop!
It trashed the building and lots of pickups parts and tools, thankfully it missed all my guitars and amps. Amazing really!
I'm starting to take some orders but until my new workshop is finished I'll not be going into full production. I'm working out of our loungeroom so my time is limited and it's not really fair on the rest of my family to be working 12 hours a day whilst they're trying to relax.
The new workshop is scheduled for 10th of September and concrete probably a few weeks after that, it all depends on the weather too.
